Potential Costumes!!

 Hey Honey's!!

I've seen everyone post about what their Halloween costumes will be, what they'd like to see, or to help others pick one. I've, of course, decided to put my own hat in the ring. So I'm incredibly indecisive; I always wait until the last minute to decide on something for Halloween. I mean, I genuinely wait until the last week. It's bad. But I'm trying to be productive and get my costume early this year. 

Yes, it is already October. This is early for me. 

But I've already semi-decided on what to be and just need to pull the trigger and pick one, so if anyone has input, please do let me know. Especially since I will most likely be buying the outfit/accessories this weekend through next Thursday, it'll give it time to come without delay. 

Okay, now onto the costume options!! Which I will order from simple-ish to more intricate.

Alien

Starting off with an Alien. I think this is a pretty popular costume this year. Don't know how or why it got popular, but I'm jumping on the bandwagon with this one!! It's so cute; you can be any color you want, and it really gives you a lot of freedom with outfit and accessories, which is a plus+. Plus, you don't necessarily have to do the retro theme; you can easily be an alien on the creepier side. Definitely such a good option!!!

Girl With the Green Ribbon

Next is such a childhood throwback that I'm leaning towards. My creepy dark heart loves "The Green Ribbon" always has and always will. It's so macabre but sooo good. And I feel like this costume is such a simple but creepy costume to do that others can definitely pick up on.

Middle Ages Princess/maiden

Love love this one. I think it's so cute and feminine, and I know people do this mainly for ren fairs, and there's just none near me to go to, so I really want to do this to fill this need. But it is a diy project that could take time, but if I get the dress, I can model the hat after that, and it'll look so cuteeee. Plus, this can be really elaborate or simple, which is great! Since the hat is really the main star.                         Also peep Queen Chapel!

Pierrot Clown

This costume has been on my head for the past year, likeee I was so sure I was going to be this, but these past 2 weeks every other costume has been popping up, and the indecisive chick I am, I started to love all of them and panic. But I still love this one; it's so cute, minimalist but maximalist. And the outfit is so cute; I might have to diy some of the components, but I feel it's easy to do. The makeup seems to be the most difficult part.

Raven

I really like this oneee; being a Raven sounds so great in my head (I love the bird); however, I'm a bit concerned that everyone will think I'm the black swan, which isn't a bad thing. Love that costume, but it's not what I'm going for, so if I do this right, it can come out the way I want. Also, this would be a biggg DIY project; you have to buy and put everything together, and that can be stressful. But it could come out so great!
